The Tapeworm
The tapeworm is a worm that causes infection in the human iuntestines. You get this infection by eating undercooked pork or beef. Tapeworms can grow up to 12 ft. and survive a long time. There are two main types of tapeworms, the Taenia Saginata usually found in beef, and then the Taenia Solium usually found in pork. A tapeworm can live inside a host for up to 20 years. Some people inject tapeworms in them to help them lose weight, but beware people that do this can pass eggs from the tapeworm which grow into big tapeworms through food handling. There are not many symptons of this infection just some stomach pains usually.
